Bingsu Battle: Seoul vs Busan
POV: I'm literally obsessed with bingsu (빙수, baedal dessert) in Seoul, but lowkey, I've heard Busan's got its own secret spots 🤫. So, I decided to embark on a bingsu battle to see which city does it best, no cap! 🏆
- Seoul's Bingsu Scene: I hit up the famous Tomato Bingsu at Tomato in Hongdae. It's literally the best patbingsu (팥빙수, patbaedal) I've ever had - the combination of sweet red bean, mochi, and shaved ice is so on point! 🤤
- Busan's Bingsu Secret: I stumbled upon a hidden gem in Busan called Kkochi Bingsu. Their unique flavor combination of kkochi ( Korean-style grilled pork skewers) and bingsu is literally a game-changer! 🤯
After trying both cities' bingsu, I have to say that Seoul's bingsu scene is still my number one, but Busan's got some serious competition! 🤔 If you're a bingsu lover like me, you gotta try both cities' versions and decide for yourself which one is the best, bestie! 👯♀️
✨ Fun Fact: Did you know that bingsu originated in Korea during the Joseon Dynasty as a way to cool down during the hot summer months? 💦
💡 Pro Tip: When trying bingsu in Korea, be sure to order it with a scoop of pat (red bean) for an extra burst of flavor! 🍴
