But Gamcheon is more than just pretty photos, bestie. It’s got a totally unique vibe. You can pop into tiny art galleries, cute little 카페 (kape, cafes) with amazing views, and grab some delicious 길거리 음식 (gilgeori eumsik, street food) like 호떡 (hotteok, sweet pancake) or fish cakes from local vendors. The local 아줌마 (ajumma, middle-aged woman) are so sweet! It lowkey feels like you’re stepping into another world, super peaceful and artistic, which totally hits different from the hustle and bustle of Seoul. Wear super comfy shoes because Gamcheon is built on a hill, so you'll be doing a lot of uphill and downhill walking! Also, try to go early in the morning to avoid the biggest crowds and get the best lighting for your photos. You'll thank me later! 😉
