๐ฝ Toilet Museum in Suwon: The Weirdest Tourist Spot in Korea
POV: I was on a road trip with my bestie, oppa, when we stumbled upon this crazy place in Suwon called Haewoojae. We were lowkey starving, so we stopped for baedal (delivery) and saw this weird building with a giant toilet on top. We were like, "What is this?!"
As it turns out, Haewoojae is the world's only toilet-shaped museum! ๐คฏ We were fr fr shocked, but also super curious. So, we went inside and it was literally a museum dedicated to, you guessed it, toilets! ๐ฝ They had exhibits on the history of toilets, toilet culture in Korea, and even a collection of weird and wonderful toilets from around the world. It was, like, so interesting and weird at the same time. I was literally laughing out loud.
One of the exhibits was on the evolution of toilets in Korea, and I was like, "Wow, I had no idea!" ๐ค Did you know that in ancient Korea, people used to use jjimjilbang (public bathhouses) with communal toilets? It was, like, so different from what we have today. And, of course, there were also exhibits on modern toilets, like the ones with auto-flush and heated seats. It was, like, so cool to see how far we've come.
